2016 Mens Past Captains (SNGC)
Match v Bucks Wednesday 18 th May 2016
The society entertained our friends from Bucks at Overstone Park.
As we were having lunch the clouds cleared and optimism grow over the weather prospects.
However the gods had their revenge -most teams got to the ninth hole In the dry but everybody got very very very wet.
Some games finished early some agreed to halve and four groups played all eighteen holes.
Dinner was excellent and due to some astute score checking by the secretary the declared result was a win for Northamptonshire 4 1/2 to 3 1/2.
Thanks to all who played and to Overstone for their hospitality.
We move onto Kenilworth on the 25th May.
