Cole is too hot to handle

Richard Cole produced a magnificent three-under-par back nine at Collingtree
Park to pull three shots clear of Alistair Heslop (Whittlebury Park) in the
NGL Seniors County Championship.

The Peterborough Milton member, who also won the gross and net team prizes
alongside Ian Kerr and Ted Dunn, carded a round of 74 in the Crown Executive
Cars sponsored event.

Heslop also finished runners-up in the net comp as Overstone's John Gleeson
clinched the Presidents Cup on countback with a net 72.

Northants County's Alan Wrigley was the leading player aged between 55 and
59, while Kingsthorpe duo Tim Johnson and Tony Carter were successful in the
60-64 age group and over-65's respectively.
