Teenager Springs to life over Priors Hall’s back nine

The 13-year-old found her form in the county girls event after a slow start as she carded 21 points on the back nine. Club-mate Baylie Pyke was runner-up with Kettering’s Gracie Murray on the same score in third place.

On a good day for Overstone, Amy Nunn’s strong finish was decisive in the nine-hole Roses Spring Fun Competition as the 12-year-old shot 19 points to finish two ahead of Jade Potter (Northampton) and Ruby Smith (Kettering).
