Whittlebury Park were crowned Ladies Scratch League champions after securing their fourth win in four matches by defeating Northampton 2-1 at Overstone Park.
After Christina Hancock (4&2) took the first point, County replied with a 2&1 win, before Whittlebury ladies club champion Rayner Edwards sealed victory by clinching the last game on the 18th hole.
The victory came just four days after the club’s Cecil Leitch team clinched their fourth title in the last five years with a 5-2 victory against Peterborough Milton in the final at Overstone Park.
The 2013, 2014 and 2015 champions, who lost to Overstone Park in last season’s final, grabbed the first point thanks to a convincing win from Christine Coles.
Peterborough, who won seven of eight group matches and then beat Oundle in the semi’s, replied with a 2&1 success from Karen Trevor, before Whittlebury took control of the contest as Beverley Price and Carole Kane secured points.
Although Milton’s Christine Goodall took the last game, it proved too late as Tracey Mann triumphed on the 18th hole, while Tina Murdock won 3&1 for Whittlebury.
