Northants Seniors v Warwickshire
played at Cherwell Edge 27th June 2011.
The morning Greensomes were won emphatically by the Seniors side and all looked very positive for the afternoon four balls.
Warwickshire came out fighting and won all but one of the four balls to record a very good victory.
Warwickshire’s Rodger Sutherland, an ex Seniors Tour Professional, finished his afternoon round, Birdie, Birdie, Eagle to come from 2 down after 15 holes to win 1 up.
A brilliant display of accurate shot making.
A very nice meal was provided by the catering staff at Cherwell Edge and there was a good atmosphere amongst the players,
