In the top match both Mary MacLaren and Rosie Youngman played very solid golf. Mary took the lead and was looking comfortable at 3 up on the 15th before Rosie fought back. Mary held her nerve and ran out a 2&1 winner.

In the 2nd match Leah Ribano started very well, winning the first hole with a stunning bunker shot. The next couple of holes were halved and then Ellie Darnell found a change of gear and a great run of birdies and pars saw her build an unassailable lead, running out a 7&5 winner.

In the 3rd match Carol Gibbs was in stunning form and a host of birdies saw her far too strong for Helen Milner with Carol securing a 9&8 victory.
