The morning Greensomes session went reasonably well with two wins, two losses and two halved games.
Despite a convincing win for, morning victors Paul Swain and Jim Tricklebank, and a halved game for the other morning winners Peter Collins and Tom Edwards,Northants went down in the afternoon Fourballs. Worcestershire were irresistible as temperatures soared into the 90's. Ted Dunn and Gary Hardy halved their match, but three heavy defeats secured a Worcestershire an 11-7 victory.
