at Cherwell Edge GC, Thursday 10^th September 2015.

On a beautiful sunny day at Cherwell Edge GC, the seniors took on a strong Staffordshire team. As has been the norm this season, the seniors were behind at lunchtime by one point.

The afternoon saw a titanic battle ending up all square six points to each side, resulting with a narrow one point victory for the visitors.

The day was highlighted by the one hundredth career match for Andrew Dathan of Whittington Heath GC. A commerative piece of glassware was presented to Andrew by the Staffordshire Captain Tony Wright.

For the home team the form and putting of new boy Michael Cheney was a joy to watch. He certainly looks to be an asset to the team for future years.

The course at Cherwell was in good order and the catering the usual high quality.

This match is the end of our friendlies for the season. A big thank you to all of the players who have supported the team, and I hope you have enjoyed the friendship as much as I have.
