Ladies Vets 1st v Lincolnshire match

Monday 16th July 2018 at Boston West GC

Our 3rd and final match for the  1st Team, was against Lincolnshire played on Monday 16th July. Half of the Ladies team decided to travel up to Boston on Sunday, myself included, Carol and myself decided to go earlier, we arrived at midday, it took us  just under 2hrs. We decided to go out and play 18 holes which was very pleasant.
Monday was another hot and humid day,  we only had 15 Ladies playing, and that included all the reserves, I would just like to say a big thank you to the Ladies that stepped in at the last minute, Julie Edwards, Karen Johnson and Carol Collins.
I had decided to play on my own, in the last match, just to give the Lincolnshire 2 Ladies a game, but 1 of my Ladies had already decided that she was playing on her own, and also wanted to go out first. She was very persistence in doing this, it didn't take long to persuade me, thank you very much Mary xx.
We all had a very enjoyable day, which was finished off with a meal and cold drinks which was very nice
The speeches were made by Maggie the Lincolnshire Captain and myself and everyone then departed for the journey home. 
Northamptonshire  Won 5 - 3.
