Ladies 2nd Team v Warwickshire match

Monday 11th June 2018 at Rugby GC

Our second outing for the Ladies County 2nd Team was at Rugby Golf Club, I was met by the Warwickshire Ladies County 2nd team Captain Annabel. There was Bacon rolls and Tea/Coffee awaiting us in the club house, which went down very nicely with the Ladies. Order of play was then sorted , with the Ladies going out in pairs playing Foursomes. The sun was shining and as the day progressed it became hotter and hotter, my job as Captain, was to make sure that they had plenty to drink, luckily the pro shop had a fridge full of ice cold drinks, which the Ladies much appreciated .For lunch we were treated to Jacket potatoes with a selection of fillings and then back to the course for the singles in the afternoon. When all the matches were finished, we had  scones and cakes for Tea.
 I would like to take this opportunity to thank the Warwickshire Captain Annabel, and the Lady President from Warwickshire for such a lovely day, and a Big Thank you to my 6 Ladies that played, And play they did, because we won 7& 2 which is a fantastic result, I am especially proud of my team.
