Seniors v. Lincolnshire

On a blustery day in Northampton we entertained Lincolnshire for our final game of the season.
In the morning greensomes we suffered a narrow 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 defeat.
In the afternoon Mike Abbotts/Howard May were able to post a second victory. With the only other victory coming in the top game, we were leaders in the clubhouse, but were ultimately well beaten.
With the likelyhood that Lincolnshire will be joining us in the Anglian Seniors League next season, we will be hoping for a better result.
