Bury St.Edmunds Golf Club
On a windy day in Bury St.Edmunds the Northants team suffered a narrow defeat in the hands of the reigning East Anglian League Champions. The morning foursomes were halved. However the afternoon session was decided by a single match, with three matches going to the last hole. Northants were leading at the halfway stage but three successive wins for Suffolk made the difference. We are developing a really good team spirit. The hospitality was first class.
