Seniors v. Suffolk

Wow, that was close!!!!!
The County Seniors took a very big step towards retaining the Anglian League title for 2015 with a win over Suffolk, 8 points to 7 points, at Rushden GC, the reverse of last years result.
The course was hard and bumpy making it very difficult to hold the greens.
We seem to struggle with foursomes and once again we trailed by a point at lunch.
The afternoon singles were very close until David Dare, making a rare league appearance held on to win, followed by last man Mike Abbotts also winning to secure the victory. The team remain undefeated this season in the Anglian league.
Thank you to Rushden GC for entertaining us all so well.
We now go to Lincolnshire in September for the league decider.
