Seniors v. Shropshire and Hereford
Monday June 6th at Patshall Park.
Perfect weather was the order of the day at Patshall Park GC.
A formidable home team were always going to provide strong opposition.
The morning greensomes saw a win for the home team 4 points to 2.
After lunch, the home team came into their own winning the match 12 points to 6.
A special mention for Jim Tricklebank and past Captain Martin Harris winning 3 points for the team.
We were joined by the Patshall Captain John for dinner, and he gave us a short talk on the history on the club.
If you have never been to Patshall Park, then please do so. The Capability Brown parkland layout is one of the finest you will ever experience.
Thank you to the staff at Patshall Park GC who looked after us all.
