Northamptonshire Seniors v Worcestershire Seniors 

Kingsthorpe GC.                                                                  Thursday 18^th August 

On a very warm and sunny day the Senior’s team, played the new Midland Six Man Team champions Worcestershire Captained by Peter Adams of Redditch GC.

Worcestershire are always a strong team and this day proved to be very difficult for the home team.

Well behind at lunchtime, the afternoon saw the visitors consolidate their advantage to win by twelve and a half points to five and a half.

It was nice to see ex Captain David Dare with a smile on his face after his pairing with two handicap Alan Freeman from Overstone Park.

Also it was nice to see Peter Waters of Peterborough Milton after a long break.

Thank you to Kingsthorpe for providing such a nice evening meal and looking after us all so well.
