2017 NGL Ladies Vets AM-AM Meeting

at Northampton GC

Monday 10th July 2017

It was a delight to see 120 ladies take part in our Summer AM/AM at Northampton G.C. These ladies represented 13 clubs in the County and the format of two scores to count on each hole proved a winning formula with everybody having a chance to contribute and enjoy a day with their friends. There were prizes for nearest the pin for both Silver and Bronze players. A team from Elton Furze came out overall winners with a magnificent score of 96 points just ahead of a team from Wellingborough who managed 95 points. The weather contributed to the success of the day being neither too hot nor wet!

The course was in excellent condition and our thanks were given to the green staff for presenting the course so well considering the lack of rain we had had recently. The catering staff were able to see to our culinary needs and our thanks were given to Barry Randall and his team.

We held a raffle on the day and the proceeds will be given to the junior girls to support and encourage them.
