 Anglian league and Midland league East 

 Lincolnshire 9 1/2 Northamptonshire 5 1/2 Anglian league

                                                            Lincolnshire 11 1/2 Northamptonshire 6 1/2 Midland league East.

 Win this match and the Seniors were odds on to retain the Anglian league title. All twelve players were present for a productive practise round on Thursday. As always the camaraderie was excellent amongst the group.

 Unfortunately  the Seniors slipped back to the form of 2015 , loosing vital points in the morning foursomes.  A problem to be addressed next year.

A credible halved afternoon singles was achieved, but too little too late.

 A huge thank you to Waltham Windmill GC, who cut and ironed the greens for the day and the catering staff who looked after us all so well, serving up some very nice food. 

Thank you to all of the players who gave up two days of their time for the cause.

 This was my last league game in charge. It has been a long journey spreading over eight years. Thank you to all of the players past and present for the support.

We have achieved a lot on and off the course.

 It has been a real pleasure win or loose.
