2019 Ladies Vets 1st v Lincolnshire match

Monday 29th July at Cherwell Edge GC

I arrived at Cherwell Edge Golf Club to receive a very warm welcome from there manager.

It wasn’t long before Lincolnshire and Northamptonshire ladies started to arrive also there Captain Nicky Plumtree.

Nicky and I sat down to enter the teams on the team sheet. Once again the weather was very kind to us.

Nicky and I started them off and wished them all to have a very nice game, as Nicky was playing  in the match I went back to the club house and for a sandwich and a coffee, I then proceeded to walk round the course to watch the ladies. When the match was finished we all sat down to a lovely meal and both Captains made their speeches.

The Final Result was Northamptonshire 7 Lincolnshire 1

All enjoyed the day and the meal, which was Lasagne with chips and salad.

For dessert we had strawberries and cream, and very nice it was too. I would like to thank Cherwell Edge and there staff for a lovely warm welcome and letting us hold the match at their club.
