2019 NGL Ladies Vets Spring Meeting

Monday 13th May  at Overstone Park GC

Our first Meeting of the year, started at 8.32am, it was a little cool for the first Ladies starting off, but as the day went on it became lovely and sunny.

There was a lovely atmosphere in the club house and it followed on down to the first tee, where I was waiting to welcome 87 ladies to the meeting and seeing them tee off.

It wasn’t long before the first Ladies were coming up to the 18thgreen, they seem to have got round very quickly.

There were lots of comments on how well the course played and how much they enjoyed the day.

It was very nice to see so many Ladies smiling.

My thanks go to Overstone Park for letting us hold the Meeting for the day, also to the bar staff and the caterers for looking after the Ladies before and after the meeting.

Again a very big thank you to Liz Waine, our Secretary for doing the cards and results, also Chris (Vice Captain) and Pat (Treasurer) for  checking in the Ladies, Paula Simpson (Overstone Vets Delegate ) for helping me prior to the day.

Thank you all the Ladies who took part, it couldn’t have happen without you.
