Our day stated with a light lunch sandwiches & chips. After the obligatory announcement of each game pairings our first tee time was 13.00hrs.
The weather was favourable sunshine with a light winds at the start turning overcast with a treat of rain for the late starters.
The course was presented in very good condition and from the table chat most everyone enjoyed the course.
Dinner was two courses roast beef followed by cheesecake.
Match result was a 5 -3 win to Northamptonshire.
