NGL Women's Vets 3rd  match v Leicestershire & Rutland

17th June 2023 at Kilworth Springs GC

For once the weather Gods shone on the Leicestershire and Rutland players in their home match at Kilworth Springs. 
A player from Northamptonshire had mistaken the date so Gill Snelson ,the Captain for the day ,had to rustle up her clubs and join the fray. 
The matches were played in a lovely spirit with lots of chatter in between shots and putts.
In the Club house afterwards the chatter continued as Kilworth presented the players with excellent lasagne and fresh fruit salad.
The Club hosted the teams very well and nothing was too much trouble for their staff.
Northamptonshire won with 6 games to 2 after some excellent performances from  the new and the more experienced players 
Well done to all the players and to the Leicestershire and Rutland teams in providing us with a lovely course and excellent company
