Kedleston Park was in fine condition, for this, only our second meeting with Derbyshire
The notable feature of this match was that all the games were close and hard fought, with only three games resolved before the final hole, and six games halved. However Northants had only three halved games to show for the morning Greensomes.
The afternoon followed a similar pattern with our only victory in the Fourballs coming from our final pairing of Mike Reed and Gary Slinn. The result was a resounding 11 1/2 to 6 1/2 win for Derbyshire.
Captain Jim Weston thanked Kedleston Park for their excellent hospitality.
