Individual success for County golfer in Midland Veteran Ladies

Wellingborough’s Gill Snelson picked up the gross prize in the 65 and over age category in the Midland Veteran Ladies Team Championship as she posted a 36-hole winning score of 171 at Thorpeness GC. 

The Northamptonshire line-up of Lorraine Gilder (Silverstone), Alison Irvine, Charlie Astbury (both Northampton) and Snelson finished ninth in the team competition.
