Champion of Champions titles for Jon and Katie

Wellingborough’s Jon Harris clinched the NGL Men’s County Champion of Champions title in thrilling style as he nudged one stroke ahead of the field with a gross round of 71 at Delapre GC.

With Sam Gilkes (Northampton) carding birdies on the 15th and 17th holes and Jensen Parfitt (Collingtree Park) picking up shots on three of the last four holes, Harris required a birdied on the closing hole to snatch top spot.

Northants County’s Katie Amos showed her consistency in the Ladies County Champion of Champions as she fired a winning score of 80 to finish three ahead of 
Gill Hodgson (Overstone Park).
