Collingtree Take Junior League Honours

The Junior League final at Kettering was the last county event of the season as Collingtree Park met Overstone Park.  Boys and girls from both teams battled hard in a close fought contest. With scores level at 1½  each the match came down to the final putt on the 18th green.  Krishnan Panesar held his nerve and holed a two footer to take the match 2½ to 1½ for Collingtree.  It was great to see enthusiastic youngsters playing the game in great spirit.  No doubt we'll be seing more of these boys and girls in county colours in the future.
