Northants Seniors v Leicestershire and Rutland

at Kingsthorpe GC

on Thursday 25th August.

A warm welcome awaited the Seniors and Leicestershire players at Kingsthorpe GC.

The match was very closely fought, with the morning greensomes being halved, 3 points each and the afternoon Betterballs also being halved, 6 points each.

Both sets of players enjoyed very much the course at Kingsthorpe, the greens were excellent.

The catering was, as always excellent also.

Thank you to the Members of Kingsthorpe for giving up their course once again, for a County event.

The Seniors next match is against the new Midland Team of Six Champions, Staffordshire at Collingtree on the 14th September.
